Share-A-Need

INDIVIDUAL NEED:

Are you in need, or do you know someone who is? Maybe a widow, a single mother, or a person who has just experienced a major setback in life? Fill out the form for yourself or have that person fill it out so we know what is needed, and we will see if we can help.

While we would like to meet every submitted need, that often isn't possible. The needs we often look to meet aren't necessarily immediate, last-minute needs, but rather needs we can learn about, pray about, and develop a plan to support.

Many local organizations provide overnight housing, long-term housing, emergency food, meals, rides to the doctor, and other assistance. We usually refer requests for these needs to organizations that help in those ways.

Maybe you know a widow/widower who needs help with their lawn, or a single mom who needs a vehicle repair. Tell them about our ministry and have them share their need so we can see whether we can assist. 

The key to helping more people is getting more people involved. Spread the word to others and get involved yourself. That way, when people share their needs, we can share them with our partners.

ORGANIZATIONAL NEED:

Do you know of an organization that has ongoing needs for volunteers or assistance that we can partner with? Whether it is serving at an event, supporting a special circumstance, or another unique or ongoing opportunity, let us know. While we can't do it all, we can do some!

We like to help with organizations that support needy families, foster and adoptive parents, teen and single moms, the elderly, widows, and others.

Nursing homes and shelters often need volunteers or assistance, but finding the right contact person can be hard. Share information about Compassion Conway with someone you know at one of these organizations, and ask them to reach out to us to see how we can help.

Maybe you have a church group or youth group that would like to help others and is looking for opportunities to serve. Let that group know about us and have them reach out to learn how we can help them help others. There will never be a shortage of needs to meet. If we all get involved, there are always plenty of people to meet those needs. Let's work together to show compassion to those in need in Conway.
